A Fighter

Light, weightless,
I’ll buzz through life.
Cunning, quick,
I’ll overcome.
Wise, understanding,
I’ll listen.
Passionate, watchful,
I’ll protect you.
Strong, fearless,
I’ll fight for us.
Vigilant, knowing,
I’ll be ever present.
Honored, adored
We will be forever.

I wrote this earlier today. I was trying to meditate with some music and the feeling of needing to write was relentless. So, to save my meditative mood I wrote this poem. It's the first one I've written in about a month. I adore it. It speaks for itself. I wrote this on 7/31/2017.
