Missing Old Fridays

After many days, I left home on Friday. But today I felt one thing very deeply that Friday is no longer the same as before. Once upon a time, Friday meant a small Eid. No rush for studies or work, the day was just for family, loved ones and a little relaxation. But today when I went out, I saw that Friday was as busy as any other ten days. Some are in school-college or coaching, some in the office, and some are running around in search of a livelihood.

Maybe times have changed, so Friday has also changed. Yet my mind still searches for those old Fridays where a holiday meant a little peace, a little closeness, and a lot of tranquility ❤️‍🩹
