Looks like this account needs a boost to get the rep up. Can we dream of a world where feminism isn't needed?

Hopefully it won't need reputation to host the community. From what I've heard community account will be treated differently to user accounts.

I'm interested to see how it works. Those who run communities may be entitled to more rewards and so there will be competition. They need to earn it by moderating.

While I worry about the validity of claims of new management, particularly with the current lack of content and the fact that as far as I know, the person/people behind this account aren't on any of the relevant discord servers, I'm gonna choose to trust and upvote in the hope this is legit.

I do wish we owned it since we habe been doing so much work so far!!!! But I think we will be ok to be led by these to. Let us not fret and support both them and ourselves

I assume they will need to moderate communities to keep them on topic and deal with spam. That could be a lot of work.

So far the only people posting on #feminism are members of #teamgirlpowa and antifeminists lol

Technically i've already been moderating #feminism as i get responses from ginabot about the hashtag . I do hope that @beanz recognizes that #teamgirlpowa have not only been working to make #feminism a place for feminists but also that we have done a LOT of work for women on the blockchain and in various groups. It would be tragic if we didn't get those rewards for the work we have already done.

This isn't about rewards. If that's what you're looking for you just barked up the wrong tree. There are multiple discords for womens empowerment and lgbt communities from what I can see #teamgirlpowa is not the only one.

Yes. We are all on the blockchain to make a living. I always feel bad that I don't have enough to give to all the amazing women who I upvote every day. And it was always my goal to someday pay people to work on what we're doing so yeah rewards in crypto is important. But not only that myself and a lot of the other woman in teamgirlpowa have been you know doing all this work pushing man and other women to look at the inequalities on the block chain and to try and change #Feminism so yeah I just am worried that all of that work will be taken away from us not just me but everyone . Because as you say there are other groups that you might want to support although they don't really support feminism like we do on the other so about women's empowerment and stays there are great groups that you could focusing on. Just let none of them are feminist groups

well I've been doing so much work so far too, on a lot of things, I'm just getting an "entitled" air off the comments not much but some definitely. The comment above sums it up quite nicely (from @feminism). I can't say I agree with feminism, the genders aren't equal, they are asymmetric and they have their strong and weak points, making up a whole. One gender is more capable in the logical sense since they are more focused and their brains are wired for it, the other is more capable of nourishment and that's because again the brain is wired differently, yeah in a general sense you are free to do whatever(I'm not going to get into gender bullshit) but those are the facts.

I'm wondering why are we trying to have women try to be knights and fighters and men trying to be women, that's just a loss of social cohesion and roles, sure a woman can learn to fight and it would be great for her to defend herself, but why go against your nature and disregard your strong points.

I'd say egalitarianism and unity through understanding is better than fighting for agendas blindly and one-sided. Opportunities should be open, but that shouldn't mean there must be no bias, or that people's perceptions need to be reshaped to fit whatever mold you'd like to see.

There is no need to be blinded to reality and in an echo chamber, the world will be better off if feminists don't exclude 80% of reality and spend 100% of their effort on their 20% that they agree with and whatnot.

And since you are asking questions @feminism, what do you think? I don't have an interest in this community, although I'd like to have conversations with reasonable people, therefore, my interests are allover the place :)

Cheers and good luck to you @limabeing having the steem blockchain provide for people is still something I'm debating in my mind. I think we'd just rely on it too heavily, plus there were "flag wars" before and people in general are a bit too greedy for their own good. Well it will be fun seeing where this will go and so on.

The fact you are claiming that this account being provided to feminists is somehow taking something away from you is a clear and embarassing cry of entitlement. If you're going to claim to want feminism to grow then why would you look at this as a potentially bad thing?!

Idk what communities is gonna llok like but you have more money and power than all of us. If you look, at first, i said i trust you. But now it looks like i shouldn't and that really sucks.

Well done @beanz. If you are correct on how the communities will be formed it's certainly good to see someone with a mature and stable hand on the rudder.

I will be a lot more likely to support this initiative with someone sane at the helm. Good to see this, @Beanz. Thank you for stepping up.
