PWR important update -> No more "open" monthly reports

Hello,

Over the last few days and weeks, I have been thinking about many things.

One of them is that, along with my personal decision to dox myself, it will become increasingly important to be much more careful with the information I share and make public through this medium.

That's why I've decided that, in order to protect myself a little more on a personal level, I'll stop sharing monthly reports about my little project, Power Ventures, here.

And what is the alternative?

I have some ideas that I would like to put into practice, and in the same way that @dbooster just posted regarding Medium, I intend to start generating some content on Substack.

My idea is to generate a much more relaxed type of content, to be read slowly with a coffee in hand, designed much more for the long term than what is on Hive (after 7 days, I feel that your content here is practically invisible, so there are no monetary incentives to create extensive content).

One of my content series (behind a paywall) will be about Power Ventures, so it can only be viewed by paying a monthly membership fee.

My intention, however, is to give PWR holders free access to this content as long as they hold a minimum number of PWR (yet to be decided the exact terms).

The idea is also to create an email list so that you receive the monthly PWR report directly in your inbox every month.

Great, I would suggest that you contact me on Discord and provide me with an email address, which I will manually add to the list (yet to be created).

The PWR holder community has always been a small one, and that's something I've liked.

I prefer to always offer quality over quantity, and I try to treat holders with the respect and seriousness I believe they deserve.

I have always envisioned PWR as a small “select club,” and I believe this is another step in that direction.

More Updates

In the last couple of weeks did a few improvements to different parts of the project:

1) Solidified branding of the accounts

I updated some account names to show better branding consistency:

  • @empo.issuer -> @pwr-issuer (Account which sends PWR to delegators).
  • @vventures -> @pwr-ventures (Main holding account).

2) Updated Documentation

As the name suggests, I have given the project documentation a facelift to reflect all the changes made over the last 5-6 months.

3) Pwr-Ventures as Neutral LP

One of my biggest concerns throughout the life of the project has been to offer sufficient liquidity to holders so that they can enter/exit at will.

In recent months, I have been using part of the externally generated profits to build a neutral liquidity position that will enable me to achieve this goal.

After decent buybacks and without additional inflation of the PWR token, I've acquired over 25% of the pool under the @pwr-ventures account.

This gives a massive level of liquidity for the whole project overall.

During the process, the price of 1 PWR has been pushed to around ~2.75 HIVE, which represents very good overall gains for the early holders who got his PWR through delegations when PWR was pegged at HIVE.

Most importantly, these gains can be realized at any time by almost any holder without destroying the price, which for me is an absolute triumph.

Everything adds up to a very deep pool (+80K HIVE liquidity).
