होकर नाराज़ यूँ पल भर का रूठ जाना ,
बच्चों जैसे मनाने से झट से मान जाना,
मुझे याद आता है वो तेरा पास आना!

शर्मा कर वो तेरी पलकों का झुक जाना ,
फिर उठाकर पलकों वो तिरक्षा नज़राना,
मुझे याद आता है वो तेरा पास आना !

शांत रहकर यूँ आँखो का कुछ कह जाना ,
मुझे याद आता है वो तेरा पास आना !

क़ातिल अदाओं से तेरा यूँ मुस्कुराना ,
मुझे याद आता है वो तेरा पास आना!
