ICO or Initial Coin Offering is a way of raising funds for your Blockchain Application. The process involves pre selling of tokens related to your Blockchain Project. They are usually sold against Bitcoin or Ethereum. Surprisingly, there are many projects that have successfully raised desired amount of funds required to launch their project. It is estimated that in 2017 alone, $5.6 Billions were raised through different ICOs.
