PWM controlled LED Strip [Arduino]

Hello guys! Today I want to present you my first ever created circuit.

It is an arduino powered controller for common anode RGB LED strips.

Here have a look at the final result:

It is basicaly just an arduino which drives three mosfets. One for each color and with the help of the ananlogWrite() funktion from the arduino it is possible to turn each color on and off very quickly. And by changing the duty cycle(PWM - Pulse width modulation) it is possible to dim each color to create all types of colors in the RGB spectrum.

If you type in google: rgb color picker you can create these RGB values used to create the shown color.

I wrote a little program that controls the colors via a serial connection with my computer. So there I can put, in a little console, the RGB value I want it to show. Nothing special here :D Just a little copy and paste ^^

Here are some more pictures:

From the Top (The wires aren't that well bend^^)

From the side. Here you can see the three mosfets very well.

I hope you liked this project!

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have a nice day!
