Echidna Time

Hello!
I'm keeping busy...
Walking the Heysen Trail
Morialta was the natural highlight for today. A place of waterfalls, creeks, cliffs, caves and thick vegetation
There's not much I want to say here. Still working on the next real update. The sequel to the post linked above — and the rest after that. It's all coming together slowly, piece by piece
I've covered more than 300 kilometres now
Walking by daylight, sleeping by night...
Sights, stories, conversations...
Insights, adversities...
Surprises, friendships...
There's a lot to share
Not going to rush it
I want to tell it right
So, for now, I'll keep walking. Keep making my way South along the trail to Cape Jervis
And in the meantime, I want to share some footage
As I walked through the Montacute Conservation Park, I heard a rustling...
Hope you're well

Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhat? This is adorable!
Agreed. I thought it was a special moment. It's funny, as earlier that morning I was asked by someone very close to me:
"Have you seen many critters so far?"
"Yeah, lot's of kangaroos and lizards"
"Cool. Any echidnas?"
"No... actually, that's one critter I would really like to see"
And lo and behold, later that same day...
😀
