Three Super Basic Steps in Painting

CLRamos did it again!

Aside from a being good in vector portrait art, Engr Carmen Lyn did an amazing artistic work again by painting my face. Oh yes, that ugly face again. Haha. Well actually, she used that just for practice. LOL.

I'm not good at painting but her work has taught me how to attempt making one next time. These are the basic steps in painting as I learned from her.

1. Draft the Outlines

Start with construction lines using a pencil. Trace the boundary lines of everything.

2. Darken the Dark, haha

Darken the hair, mustache, beard, eyebrows, eyes, and everything that is black or with a dark shade.

3. Apply the other colors

Mix different colors to paint the skin, lips, etc.

Don't forget to include a signature and a date when it was finished.

Honestly, I really don't have a talent in painting. Not even in Photoshop. But can you guess how I did this one? Haha.
