Firstly lets get it out of the way; yeah I’ve not been around for almost 7 years now, but I’ve been present. My almighty $0.017 voting power has been pumping away over the years, throwing in where it can - supporting old names, early days sisters and familiar projects.

I’ve also lurked. I got Ecency when Hive forked and kept an eye on things. There was the intention to post music reviews but many things got in the way - various levels of fatherhood, pandemic, shifting jobs, shifting homes. Things are more stable now but I’m not sure of the value of one forgotten individual posting niche music opinions in this day and age.

Anyway, I’ve been juggling about a bit of currency to spread it about. As a result I was shifting stuff around on MEXC. To my surprise, they threw me a bonus of $20 to put in futures. Having drifted on here recently I saw the Hive futures announcement so I threw my almighty$20 on a long (my trouser length). Now I’m looking at a series of green and red bars. I have no idea what’s going on by my god it’s enthralling.
