So many times, people refuse to listen to you because they think they are right, lest forgetting to look at the situation from your own PoV.
Accept their point but make sure you let them know that, you don't want to be right, you want to be understood.

I loved the sentiment of this meme ever since I saw it a a while back. But it's always bothered me it left one part unsaid. Regardless of their perception, someone somewhere created that six or nine or unfinished eight or abstract squiggly art piece.
People's perception can be different but void from any objective reasoning the point seems moot.
