Infatuations

Ever been infatuated?
It is a feeling that gets you elated.
On noticing her at a distance
The intense reaction brings out the foolishness in a wise man.

Sometimes you see the threat drawing near.
Despite the clear warnings you still want to try it out
At a point in time in each others arms you wish the light never goes out
Am not surprised because it is the genuine impression of what the nature stored in us by the most high.

Truth be told, I have had infatuations
Try not asking with who,when and for what good reason
Should I be sincere?
It's not wise.

Never get infatuated
It has made princes cry,
It has ruined kings
LOVE but be wise
Because anything can happen at any time.
