Hello, Steemians!
My name is Sam, from Future Precedent. Future Precedent is a group of blockchain futurists. We believe in the potential of blockchain technology to bring about revolutionary social and economic changes. But its up to all of us to make that change happen. So—we're working on it!
We've recently completed our first paper, which examines how tokenization can add value to economies by improving markets for user-generated goods—in a nutshell, how people can make money making stuff for free without relying on ads, donations or "freemium" features, so that all of us can get more and better free stuff. Everyone likes free stuff, right? Some free stuff—like code libraries on GitHub and answers on StackOverflow—plays a critical role in today's economies.
@futureprecedent is a shared account for our team. A few of us will post from this account, but we'll sign our names so you can get to know us individually, too.
We are very excited to join the Steemit community. Steem/Steemit actually inspired our paper to a large extent (we have a case study on Steemit in section 5.2.1). I'll post more on our paper soon, but for now we just want to say hi!
