Wonder what the State of NY and its Bitlicense is all about? Every wonder if the NY financial district and banks are controlling bitcoin and crypto currency in general?

In this video I am intrigued about how JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Poloniex, Coinbase, Ripple XRP and Circle are all connected with the State of Bit license .
Is it just by coincidence that NY is home to the largest branch of the federal reserve?
Is it weird that the NYSE and NASDAQ are locate here and do not require this license because they have a bankers license?
Is it just coincidental that some of the largest banks are here?
Is it all just happenstance that banks like Bank of America have more patents concerning crypto currency and BITCOIN than any other entity?
