The Sunrise

The beach was quiet as I drew my breath and awaited for the sun to rise. Then it began to emerge. The clouds showed every shade from palest pinks to crimson. Very rapidly, the big, yellow ball splashed and spilled its golden rays in the ocean right before my very eyes. It was mesmerizing and inviting as a new day was born. The golden light softly caressed the land and ignited the birds into an orchestra. There is this immense and immeasurable peace and tranquility that one experiences at the beach at sunrise that seems to be beckoning one to return. I am following my heart and will be there again to experience it.
