PHOBIA : A VERY COMMON MENTAL DISORDER
A phobia is an unreasonable fear of a specific object,activity or situation.
In phobia anxiety disorder,the individual experiences intermittent anxiety which arises in particular circumstances,i.e. in response to the phobia object or situation.
TYPES-
- Simple phobia
- Social phobia
- Agoraphobia
TREATMENT-
Some commonly used drugs are:
Benzodiazepines
Antidepressants
