STOP EATING DIRT

There's a truth you alone can tell best

An experience you can recall scene after scene

There's a story that softens the core of your heart

And drains tears down your face and into your dreams

It hurts, it kills your soul

But you can't afford to let yesterday control the future

God's ready to move you to a different height

But are you ready?

The storm might have been strong

The rain might have drenched you

The darkness might have blinded you

And the pit might have been scary

But it is over

The experience might have been bitter

But it's dead and gone

You've got to hope again

You've got to keep trusting God

He isn't done with you yet

You might have taken a licking

But you've got to keep kicking

Your story doesn't end like this

Your end shall be glorious

So get off the ground

Wipe off the dust

Change your garment

Choose to live again

And stop eating dirt

Because it's one thing to be on the ground

And another to keep staying there
