This Is Why I Love End Of Seasons! Splinterlands

Splinterlands has been crushing it as of late with announcements and updates. I knew those last few months would be the perfect time to stack up on all things that included SPS/Vouchers/Cards and packs and so far I have to say it's paying off big time. My SPS has risen 30% on average and I see it go much higher in Q3/Q4 and the start of 2023. Vouchers have also nearly doubled in price!

That's not what this post is about however. Instead it's about claiming end of season rewards to hopefully motivate you to get involved with Splinterlands

Season Rewards

This season I landed Diamond 2 which puts me at a total of 50 loot chests a pretty sizable amount! There was some type of blockchain air when trying to claim it so I missed out on the animation. However you can always login to PeakMonsters and view your personal explorer there.

In total I landed 24 cards! What's crazy though is most of these are $0.02 cards which means in theory I could simply buy 400 common cards to max out one of the reward cards for just$8! That's just crazy I think and I'll most likely do that here soon. I want to have max level cards that are extra to work my 142 plots of land including one that is a keep and a legendary totem to boot!

Along with that I picked up some DEC in total it was just 70 DEC I have to say those DEC rewards suck I rather get potions now lol All of that DEC gives me about $0.07 to$0.14 in value (although for the next 3 months it will help me collect a little more SPS from the airdrop) I suspect this value to move to $0.001 per DEC and try and peg there once we are done with the airdrop so selling it now for cards might actully be a play I do here soon.

Now because I have 5 potions of each I decided to open a pack. I only do this now with the few hundred packs I have left (and stacking more each day) if I have max potions.

And WOW what a pack it was!

Not only did we land a rare card but we landed a Legendry but not any legendary a summoner card which I feel is worth even more! The total pack opening is current worth about $30 and it mostly all comes from the Summoner Legendary. Not back for a$3-$4 buy in.

And you thought it was over right....

Well Because I'm in a guild and the guild brawls just got over with I was able to cash in another gladius pack!

nothing too crazy here but it will allow me to level up again a rare and a common card which will help greatly in my brawl battles moving forward.
