A GOOD SPOUSE
A good spouse is a form of God's favour (see Proverbs 18:22). Some men and women maltreat their spouses because they have failed to realize that having a wife (and not just a woman) or a husband (and not just a man) is Gods favour.
Having a blissful marriage doesn't mean their won't be misunderstanding and disagreement. Even the bible (and am sure the Quran too) does not guarantee that. When such happens,there must be mutual submission between the two.
It is said that the blessing you do not appreciate will depreciate i your hands as a result of abuse or misuse. It is evil to abuse the gift of God that is in your spouse.
This is a clarion call to couples (and potential ones) to cherish the gift the Lord has given to you in the form of your spouse as in Ephesians 5:21. It is an act of ingratitude for you to maltreat your spouse who is an embodiment of the Lord's favour in your life. Learn to put value on your spouse and your home will be preserved.
