Meta, under Zuckerberg's leadership, is aggressively pursuing super intelligence by launching a new AI lab and recruiting top talent, including the founder of Scale AI.
These developments suggest a potential acceleration towards AI systems that are increasingly autonomous and capable, raising important questions about control, alignment, and social impact.
Some are saying it's a soft singularity like the internet but bigger. Others are scared after realizing that nothing has advanced or transformed our world so fast as AI is capable of.
