Bitcoin Wallet Best Practices
Thought I would get the ball rolling on a thread about bitcoin, or cryptocurrency best practices for storing and managing wallet keys.
Looking to avoid the same fate as this poor soul.
Missing: hard drive containing Bitcoins worth £4m in Newport landfill site
Basic Questions
How do people here safeguard their wallets?
How real is the possibility that hackers could steal the wallet directly from my local machine? Is there a precedence for this?
Right now I just own bitcoin, but looking to pick up some more currencies... how do people structure the many wallets they have generated?
