Hello and good day to all fellow steemians,

So after 7 days of intense meditation, i am happy to announce i finally get the chance to sit down and focus on writing my post! yayyy.. 😅

I was checking out my facebook this morning and came across a video that really hit me. It made me realized that animals not only has feelings but also capable of helping each other but human DON’T. I’ve been thought helping people is the right thing to do and a small act of kindness can change a person’s life in many instances. However, i also believe not everyone deserve your help and by the end of the day you realized you are just wasting your time. Remember, the first person you need to help is YOURSELF. If helping people makes you unhappy or uncomfortable, don’t do it. Simple. No one will judge you if you are doing it for yourself and if it makes you happy.

I’ve read interesting info from google 👍 and would like to share it here. Here are the reasons why you are just wasting your time and draining yourself to help people :

I) Stop Helping People Who Don’t Deserve Your Help

• If they don’t think your time is worth any value, then you don’t have time for them.
• If people don’t care about you, you shouldn’t help them.

II) Stop Helping People Who Don’t Appreciate Your Help

• The easiest way to turn your friend into an enemy is offering them advice they don’t want to hear.
• Shouldn’t give advice to people who are not prepared to accept or will one day come back and blame you if it doesn’t work out for them.

III) Stop Helping People If You Can’t Put 100% Into It

• Helping people when you don’t have the skills or time will do more harm than good.
• Always think it through carefully, before you offer to help someone else. If you don’t, it may cost you your time, money and also relationship either personal or professional.

I also believe there are people out there who really needs our help. Those homeless, sick, slaves, addicts, abused victims, less fortunate and really needs shelter, food, education, innocent people who had been raped, killed and needs help emotionally and physically but we can only do so much.
