Untitled (Freewrite)
I know there is something real.
I know, that whatever it is,
It is elusive.
I know there is reason,
Although it is hardly logical, and very far from common sense.
I know..... There is very little I can say that I know.
And that slight bit is near impossible to describe;
To pin down and build on.
Yet I feel,
It is the only thing that allows for any development at all.
Written for today's Five Minute Freewrite.

When I read this, it made me think of "A Puzzlement", one of the songs from the musical "The King and I." Sometimes what we think we know, we find out we don't!
It is elusive - but it is our core. Love how you brought this piece together - short but powerful.
Ha, yes. That's exactly what I was trying to get at.. That was just about five minutes for me, and I edited a little. If I really went to work on it, who knows what would become? Freewriting is at once frustrating and very interesting/rewarding. Like: "I can do that? Just like that, and leave it. Really?" Thank you.
