I aim to pull you and hold you down,
Keeping your feet on solid ground.
My words are of the sweet persuasion,
Mending the rift between blacks and Caucasians.
I write with no obligation,
Only from the sweet indication of change.
My words are never out of range.
Such words provide insight into the ongoing fight of expression,
To make a beautiful spiritual connection in this world.
The Ancestors will never put more on me that I couldn't bare.
Thus, I will write with dignity and great care.
