There's a rule in editorial design, when you open a book, the even numbers stay on your left while the odd ones are on the right side. that means that 7 and 8 belong to the same sheet, 100 and 101 are on different sheets, 222 and 223 are also on separate sheets. So this leaves us with only 5 as the answer

I don't understand, are we factoring prime numbers as well, if so, explain further coz I think the number of sheets torn should be 3.
