Very Import info about Gold Monkey
The sad news
With unfortunate news we will be ceasing operation of Gold Monkey, the decision has been a hard one. The down fall has been a few things, the lack of sales, too many people relying on contests, the price of steem and the last nail is the hf21 that will make leases more expensive and give less rewards to our members.
Payouts
We are still comitted to paying out the the rewards that have been collected, we started off with 3 mods and we all pumped in 300 steem each with a huge loss but that is what happens sometimes but we have been giving huge upvotes while we have been active and if you blogged everyday you will have seen a positive return on your GMB units.
Powering down
We are going to let the leases run out and after 1 week of that happening we will start a power down, once the 13 week power down schedule is complete we will pay all steem that is due to members, we will put out a post in a few days with what people are roughly going to receive.

So sad! Will you still vote as you power down? You can do good on curation rewards if you will get you power to about 90% each day. At least that might help.
Very good initiative. Shame it didn’t work out the way you expected but I’m grateful for your commitment to the platform. We should all be!

Yeah it is a shame, but life will go on and hopefully steem will recover with the new hard fork

Maybe I'am wrong but I feel you could still run this even with the effects of hardfork as for many this could still be a nice boost, people would appreciate it even more now due to the changes and getting less.
Bummer, I enjoyed your project a lot, But I do understand. I hope you find a new path that has objectives that make your heart happy. :D
