Hello Steemit! This will be a proper introduction to me and my history with Crypto-Currency.

Humble Beginnings..

I've only been in the Crypto-space as it were for about two weeks; prior to be playing around with Bitcoin in the early ages of it being born; thought nothing of it. (Don't tell me; I'm an idiot? I know.. I know.) As years went on I heard a bit here and there about Bitcoin, Litecoi, Doge and others I can't recall which I see how that are doing quite well, noticed Litecoin went from $50 to$3 which I didn't hear about and only saw when I had a look at the Coinmarketcap graph.

Let's fast-forward to 2017, May.

I heard about the Wannacry ransom and that's when everything fell into place; I purchased a little bits of Bitcoin on LocalBitcoins (at 5% higher rates, I forgot about Coinbase), and I was only buying $1-$10 of BTC a day depending on the prices. I then discovered Coinbase again and noticed they had added another Cryptocurrency called Ethereum and it was around the $160 mark before it had a mini-crash to$126. I said to myself; What's Ethereum and Coinbase are supporting it.. what is this all about then.. I came across a very nice picture that explained Ethereum, Ether and a little bit of how Blockchain technology works and the possibilities that can come from this.

I find myself >GOING IN< on Cryptocurrencies, researching left - right and centre; Looking at the Top 25 Cryptos, going onto their website, whitepapers, the development teams etc, looking for their social presence and how much people are talking about them. This is when I came across @Suppoman, some of you may know of him, some you may have not. But his energy inspired me to actually invest my money, my future into Crypto-currencies; mainly Altcoins.

It's been less than two weeks since I invested in my first ever Alt-coin on the 29th of May; Digibyte! As of today those Digibytes have increased by 202% (as of writing this) which isn't bad at all for me; I know a lot of people got in a lot earlier, 1-400 sat but still; happy days for you lucky ones but I'm happy with my profit!

As of today I'm invested in 15 other alt coins from Digibyte and obviously a bit in Bitcoin. I've also got a contract on Genesis Mining and Hashflare but I think Alt-coins seen to been the better option however I am still very fresh to the Crypto-space as it were.

Thanks for reading and feel free to ask any questions; I'd also like to say that this is my first ever blog post EVER so I'm quite new to all this; not 100% sure on how to make this look pretty but heyho, I'll learn! I plan to blog about my journey and anything I deem interesting!
