Attached To Outcomes
So much disappointment comes...
from getting too attached to outcomes. Yes, when things go our way we can celebrate. It is easy. What about when what we desire seems just out of reach?
If we continually try to make everything perfect, we can indeed achieve these goals. But, life not being a static event can offer up the converse of this at some point. We choose how to define "perfection" just as we choose how we react when our imagined or realised ideal of perfection comes to pass.
Living in surrender to what is while realigning with what we value is a way of finding peace with whatever life offers up.
I choose to surrender today to life and all of its inconsistencies.

As humans, we are not good at letting go of expectations. But when we actually do that’s when the magic happens; things and people naturally gravitate themselves to us because we’re not emitting this needy or clingy vibe.
