Been thinking about Venetian masks lately. You know the type; those white faces, embossed with delicate flowing golden patterns and carnivalesque hats, you'll see at any extravagant masquerade party. Just think they're really neat. And the Sun masks are some of the best ones; these golden faces, with gigantic rays of light shining out in all directions- sometimes, there's even a moon attached to the side of its face. They're really just a spectacle to look at. And, I dunno, I just felt inspired to make my own take on the style, although admittedly this goes quite a bit beyond just a sun mask; I tried to fit in as many symbols of the sky as I could onto this, Really, really proud of how this one turned out.
