Affections on Eternity

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

The earth and everything thereof are temporary, thus affections on it leads to frustrations and disappointment as they vanish away.

Thus, the Almighty God instructs us to set our love on eternity, which shall not be taken away.

We should be focusing and falling in love with our relationship with Christ, our rewards in heaven and eternity with Christ.

Everything on earth shall pass away, be it possession, loved ones or anything we can think of..

When we focus on eternal value, everything else falls in place. Set your priority right.

Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege to be yours. Please help us to be affectionate towards eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
