Happy Anniversary
Forty four years ago today I married my husband. Yes, when we married we agreed it would be for keeps. What I didn't know was that we would continue to be happy for all these years. This past August, my parents celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary, so we had a good example!

Thank you. We didn't have a very exciting anniversary since my husband has a virus in his eye (after eye surgery). He can't see well right now and is in pain. So, we just went out to eat for lunch and came home. I guess when you've been married that long, it's ok to celebrate in such a low key way and still enjoy it.
Anyway, my husband got news today from the doctor that his eye is doing better. However, he was told it will take at least 2 weeks to heal. Hopefully the pain will lessen each day, and he can take off the sunglasses soon (it's sensitive to light, too).
