Hello… Call me “G”
Hello fellow humans!
Very nice to be acquainted with you.
A friend of mine recently shared this platform with me. He knows it way more than I do and upon him I’ll rely for the nitty-gritties, but for now, I figured I’d start with an Introduction Post.
I’m in an Uber on my way to a hotel to get some much needed rest for my recently overtaxed body… A hotel is not ideal for me right now since I’m very much on a budget. However, prioritizing grandma’s health doesn’t have a pricetag, so here we are. Whatever my achy body is going through, since I’m not sure if it’s contagious or not, a hotel was the best option I came up with. I thought I found an even better option - a $42 AirBnB in Naples, FL - can’t beat that… Well, it turns out that it wasn’t meant to be listed and I walked in on the hosts unsuspecting boyfriend…
Fast forward about 3 hours and I’m in a hotel room. Finally resting my body. This was one of those self check-in hotels… No human at the front desk, just a kiosk with a touch screen and webcam… I did get to meet “Sam” on the other end - 30’s something Malaysian(?) dude. I guess some human contact is better than none. This time around though I was perfectly fine with that considering how my body has been feeling.
Ok, last background note for this intro post to give some context…… maybe you’re wondering why I recurrently mention my beat up body…
Sunday, January 16th I finished a 200 hr. yoga Teacher Training and received a certificate of completion. It was a grueling process that required patience, grit, and honestly, just the momentum to keep going.
Yoga will be a topic of conversation that I bring up often on future posts… That meaning, what YOGA truly is.
For now, rest is in the forecast, and I look forward to our journey together.
