Reflections

While the authors of this song intended to point towards the genetic evolution of human species from 46 chromosomes to 48 chromosomes, I have a different perspective of this song of my own. According to me, this is a reflection of how we all hide from our true natures and our inner desires and feelings. Doing this not only confuses us, but it also torments us and we lose our way and identity in the process. That is what we must make an effort to reach out to and connect with: Our inner senses and our intuition. We must accept them for what they are as they change throughout our lives, and we must change accordingly if we wish to transcend ourselves as we are now. And that is a journey in and of itself, worthy of claimed as evolving.
