The Austrian paintress Greta Feist was in her early creative period representative of the "New Objectivity" (Neue Sachlichkeit) of the 1920ies to 30ies. The artist pushed 1938 the limits of self-portrayal with this nude.

Very nice self portrait. It is hard to do a self portrait for sure. I had an art teacher make us do one. I was never one to look in the mirror much but I had to for this self portrait. It made me more appreciative of myself.
