Les presento a Ganesha, uno de los Dioses que mi padre nos hablaba mucho cuando yo era niño. En casa tenemos muchos retratos, cuadros y figuras (esculturas) de algunos de ellos. Ganesha es uno de los más conocidos, tiene cuerpo humano y cabeza de elefante; este Deva del hinduismo es el Dios del intelecto, la sabiduría removedor de obstáculos, así como también el patrón de las artes y de las ciencias. El ratón que está a su lado en realidad es un bandicut.
