Jesus Christ got baptized because he came inform of a man, although without sin but still need to do the way human do and the need to show a prove for the work which the father has sent him to do.
It was during his baptism that a voice came from heaven to authenticate the acceptance of Jesus from heaven to earth and the work he is to do.
