Baekhyun Fanart: Layer by Layer!

Hi everyone!

Today I just want to share the process of my Baekhyun potrait. As i said, it was a birthday present for my friend who happens to be a big fan of EXO.

By the way i used Paint Tool SAI for all of my digital artwork.

Sketching on paper is much easier than on my wacom tablet, so i sketched the line art first on my sketchbook.

Transferred and opened it in laptop to trace it.

Colouring begins!

Get used to doing the shadows first.

Do the shading and highlighting one by one so we can fix it easily of we messed up. So take your time and do every steps layer by layer. Better safe than sorry.

Don't afraid to do some experiments with lights and colours. Add new layer and try new thing. If it doesn't work, then delete it right away. No harm done! That's how you learn art, so take risk. We have ctrl+z after all.🌚

I sucks big time at background, so sometimes i just brush here and there. Just to make a picture for the situation.

If we're not good enough, don't worry. Be patient on your work and don't stop experimenting.
