Tales of Holy Men

Quite a popular tourist attraction on the island of the statue of the Mummified Monk. Many legends and tales surround this famed seeker of enlightenment. During my time on the island what I found strange was finding 3 monks who had ended up in exactly the same situation located at different temples on the island.

However, just one of them was heavily marketed towards tourists while the other two remained silent. Even more interesting was that all of them claimed to be the same monk! I only have one photo to share for now and of course with the fake raybans as his eyes had "naturally decomposed" while the rest of the body remained intact.

Sometimes, I feel like this after a heavy weekend!
