forgiving not forgetting memory

The simple meaning of forgiveness is that this heart is not constantly offended by the memory of a person's words or deeds in the past.

So the negative emotions associated with past events have been successfully removed.

If you have forgiven then have to forget? Hmm .... The memory remains, but the negative emotions are released so as not to overload the present and the future.

If forgiven then it must be willing to reconnect with the person?

Ah no... If it is not suitable for what is forced.

Negative emotions released, already able to accept that these events already happened, have taken the wisdom, the mind is not tormented again if remember the memory ... yes is enough.
