Iceland - Diamond Beach

After boating through Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and photographing the icebergs (see previous post), we headed to the beach to get these shots. When the icebergs in the lagoon melt and become smaller, they travel through a narrow stream out to the ocean and then get washed up onto the shore. The black sand beach provides incredible contrast to the diamond-like ice.
