Keep The Link Contest, Episode 1
Here is my entry for @ijmmai's Photography Contest Keep The Link
Great idea, @ijmmai! I like how you provoke us to think creatively and out of the box with your contests.
Link Descriptions
Although I don't think it is needed to understand the links, here is my explanation of the links:
- The notebooks relate to the pen: they are all writing utensils;
- The Flower Sticks link to the bean bag juggling ball: both juggling instruments;
- The Sea Shepherd's Flag is associated with the little Bobby. Both exist to serve and protect.

Well, I just had to use the Sea Shepherd's Flag. With them saving whales and all :'-)
NO. WAY! How did you get your hands onthat flag? Did the captain give you that flag in the end?!
lol. Did you know... I had one of those flower sticks too, still know how to keep it in the air. Had to throw it away though, because the flowers so to say came off.
I used to make them myself out of old motorbike tires and crafts materials. Taught Birmese refugee children how to make them, play them and even took some of the kids to the market to show them how to sell them to tourists. I started writing a post about this months ago. Maybe it's time to finally finish it :-D

Yes you should. Sounds interesting. We had fun with the sticks, especially when the kids started learning how to handle them. We practiced outside, they needed a lot of room :)
They're great fun and really good to practice balance and hand-eye coordination. Did you know that in the ancient Chinese armies soldiers had to practice playing them to prepare for battle?

I didn't know, but I am not surprised. It is one of those things that seem impossible at first but quite logical once you get the hang of it. Focus, focus, great toy, or sport.
