Our Little Kookaburra Visitor

Hey all :)
I am a true novice when it comes to photography...I never seem to be able to capture the shot I'm after despite trying many, many times!

But I couldn't resist capturing this little Kookaburra visitor in our garden today! I took so many pictures as he hopped around, but this is the one I liked the most :)

Its rare for them to sit in a way that you can see this side of their tail feathers, heres a photo of a feather we found on the ground so you can see the detail and colours! They don't drop their feathers very often so this one sits in prime position on my window :)
