The recipe for the lemon-based body scrub DIY is very easy and can be prepared in a few minutes. It's a gift that means: take a break for yourself, dedicate some time to your well-being. Is it not perfect to make a simple DIY for Christmas or Mother's Day?
The scent of lemon is intoxicating and transmits energy and vitality, while the scrub effect renews the surface layer of the skin. It's a DIY gift to which children can easily collaborate with an adult.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN SCRUB DIY BODY LEMON SCRUB FOR BODY

To do this scrub, you need:

• 500 gr of fine salt
• The peel of 1 organic lemon
• a cup of organic almond oil
• a hermetically sealed glass jar
• ribbon for decoration
• Optional: natural essential lemon oil

Pour the salt into the jar. Wash the lemon and dry it thoroughly. Grate the lemon peel and add to the salt. Pour in the almond oil and mix thoroughly. The DIY scrub is ready: close the jar and shake it to mix the contents well. You can decorate the jar with a intonated ribbon or a simple string.

You can add 4-5 drops of lemon essential oil to give the scrub DIY a more accentuated and long-lasting aroma. If you decide to use it, choose a natural, not the synthetic one. The antibacterial and toning properties of lemon essential oil are known. The scrub will be a moment of relaxation accompanied by a pleasantly energizing fragrance.

If you want to create a personalized label like the one I have done, you can use half a lemon as a stamp, perhaps with children's help. Just half a lemon, tempera or similar colors and a white cardboard. Here's how to do it:

• cut a lemon in half
• Let it dry for a few minutes on absorbent paper and for half an hour in the air (in this way the impression will be clearer)
• pour a few drops of color onto a flat surface
• squeeze the lemon in color as if it were a stamp and "stamp" the cardboard (1-2-3-4).

Warning: The use of lemon scrub should be avoided if exposure to the sun is expected because the essential oils contained in its skin can give photo sensitization. The oil contained in the scrub can make bath and shower surfaces slippery. Do not use on sensitive, irritated or excoriated skin!
