Jardin del Turia in Valencia. From catastrophe to urban paradise.

This park runs for miles in the middle of the city. This is the old reconverted riverbed. In 1957 Valencia suffered a massive flood. They decided to divert the river to avoid this from ever happening again.
And they got themselves an awesome park!
