So, I’m back for round two! After winning the first lore contest with my trusty Water deck and Asel Alagosdil, I thought things would quiet down around my icy plots. I was wrong. The Splinterlands wild is always throwing weird stuff at you. This time, a burning rift ripped open right in front of my frontline, and out stepped Djinn Jolius Blast.

But here’s the kicker, he wasn’t alone. Right next to him was this red-haired girl who looked completely lost but also super fired up. It hit me instantly that this is exactly the girl from @ineyashami’s story. You know, the one who accidentally woke up in this magic world and ended up tracking down Jolius to be her fire-wielding mentor. Seeing them together in the flesh was wild, and it looked like they traveled all this way into the Water Splinter just to test her skills in a real Frontier format match.

Jolius looked at her, pointed at my team, and basically said, "Alright, let's see what you’ve learned. Show me how you handle the cold." The girl took a deep breath, hands shaking a bit, and gave the order for Jolius to blow us away with his explosive splash damage.

A massive firestorm came running straight at my team. If it hit, my backline would be toast. But come on, I had Asel Alagosdil sitting in the first position. The moment the flames touched him, his Divine Shield popped with a golden flash, completely absorbing that terrifying first strike. Zero damage taken. Jolius has some crazy attack power, but Asel’s massive HP pool just sat there soaking up the rest of the heat like it was nothing.

While Asel was busy being an absolute wall, it was my turn to counter-attack. Now, Jolius has that annoying Void ability which drops all magic damage by 1. If I used weak, chipping magic attacks, his fiery armor would just shrug it off. But because Asel has such a low mana cost, I managed to squeeze some heavy-hitting mages right behind him.

I told my magic backline to focus everything on a single spot. In Splinterlands, the best part about magic is that it ignores armor and cuts straight to the health pool. We unleashed a massive wave of localized blizzards and ice lances. It completely bypassed his defenses, hitting Jolius right where it hurts.

The red-haired apprentice looked totally stunned watching our magic melt through their setup. Realizing they were outmatched by basic game mechanics, Jolius stepped in front of his student.
