The Perfect Father

“

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

Whether you have come to anticipate this day or dread it based on the way you were fathered, today is a day every person who knows Jesus can enjoy. We can know we’ve been adopted as God’s own children.

“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’”
Romans 8:15

To know you are a child of God is to know freedom, acceptance, security and calling. God is the perfect Father, so rest assured, he will hold you, guide you and be with you whatever you are going through.
