Mysterious void

Did you hear
the lament
of the ocean?
It drifts through
my sunken feelings

The ocean has
a world of void
A mysterious void
filled with immense
challenges

From where to where
we have traveled
in freezing winds
and growling typhoons?
Sailing through
the sleepless nights
with swollen eyes
was not that fun

Though the distance
between love and hate
has narrowed
we still blame ourselves
to keep
the winds at bay

Do not stare
at the sky
to find a full moon
Huge black clouds
are going to begin
a carnival
of darkness

Rather light the lantern
to know
the impropriety
of waves climbing
on each other
to stay at peace
