Red pepper

Namapara has pepper fields. Everyone in the area is involved in pepper cultivation. Pepper plants cannot withstand water. At present summer season is going on in Bangladesh. The price of Akon pepper is low. Because the yield is higher now. Then will come the rainy season. Then the price of pepper will go up Because most of the peppers die due to excess rain

Chili is a perennial vegetable. Pepper can be cooked both raw and cooked. Peppers are salty in taste. Peppers contain a lot of vitamins. Pepper is dried and powdered and sold.

In Bangladesh, no curry is cooked without chilli. What a fun curry if not salty. So pepper is a must for cooking.
