This topic is complicated to explain because I honestly believe that sometimes our way of dressing can be important, especially in special moments like a job interview or a date with someone we like. On other occasions, I don't think what other people think or say about us influences our behavior too much. Well, that's my opinion, but perhaps it does affect others. I personally try to dress as well as possible, but not all the time, since comfort is essential for me. I really like black shirts, and also, since I live on an island, I almost always wear shorts that allow for better ventilation, as the heat has been extremely intense lately.

Perhaps some people criticize our way of dressing and can offer advice to help us improve, but most criticism is meant to belittle us or make us feel bad, which could undoubtedly affect our mental health. Constant teasing from malicious people will always be a part of our lives, and it's up to us whether we allow these comments, whose clear intention is to harm us, to enter our lives.

When it comes to children, it's even more complicated because, as we know, they are children and may not understand the power of words. It's fair to say that this can be an attitude these children see in their parents and try to replicate, thinking it's not harmful to anyone. This is a mistake in how they are raised, a mistake that begins at home, and in this case, in childhood. If this isn't corrected, it will be very dangerous for both the child and others who could become potential victims of a word that's on everyone's lips these days: bullying. In my day, it was common, but perhaps our generation was a bit more resilient mentally. Right now, it's complicated because it leads to various problems among students due to constant teasing, whether it's about their clothing or some other distinguishing characteristic.

This concludes my small contribution to the weekly #iucontest contest of the @indiaunited community, where we share our thoughts on a specific topic. This one is undoubtedly complex and difficult because not everyone thinks or acts the same way when faced with criticism, especially in countries where EDUCATION isn't the best. However, we can teach that we must respect everyone without distinction of color, race, religion, or something as trivial as clothing.
