Much and nothng to say
've dragged on ths laptop more than would be reasonable to expect from any one devce. 5 years now? Heavy use. Bangng and travelng across Europe. Splls. Sun. Overheat. As the more perceptve have noted there are certan thngs that are mssng. Seems the laptop suffered a stroe about ten days ago and s mssng the use of certan letters and symbols. Good days and bad. Sometmes t remembers but all n all tme s drawng to ts natural end. 'm prepared from the last tme I thought it was going down (oh, hello there letter I) but t's stll a shame to change t. Accustom yourself to somethng new. Learn to wrte somewhere else on a dfferent eyboard a dfferent story.

We seem to be lvng strange tmes. The severe drought across Europe has placed Romana n a state of emergency. No water and extreme heat means there's no way to cool off the nuclear power plants whch means no power whch means crss. Madness. Publc lghts beng swtched off. Mysterous cutbacs on water delvery. Crazy people le me stocng up for an apocalyptc few days.
The famlar fear of a crss. Rememberance of when frst bought ths laptop roncally. And all the fear and uncertanty that charactezed those days. They blew up a roc whch bought us another couple of days. f we can outlast the heat wave or at least last untl the water flows down from geu

Stuff like that scares me which is part of the reason I would love to have my own solar array one day. I don't like the idea of being dependent on other people.
Now it's really annoying. I've got this song in my head, a ballard sang by a male band, I can even sing the tune where they sing "I" for ten or eleven times at the beginning of the chorus but I can't remember what came after. I think I got it on my vinyls. Now I have to search through them all..
me too! i think the options are limited in the city, especially in apartment blocks. was just saying if things seem to go south, i rent a car and we drive to my folks' in the country side, as they're properly solar equipped :D

it appears like the end of the universe. first the letters disappear. we had silent aitches, but now we don't know what letters will be silent - the ones that spelt 'dissent' or 'care for nature'. we would call it orwellian but we have forgotton to read. like our thoughts, which we have given to other intelligences, the rivers are drying up now.

This reminds me of something I did as a child... I wrote stories without vowels, just for fun. "Th fmly wnt n vctn n thr cr. Thy hd fn!" (The family went on vacation in their car. They had fun!) So, I was able to read your entire post with only one word being difficult to determine! 😂 Hope you can get a new laptop soon! 💞
You and that laptop have made a lot of memories by now. It's like an old friend, yet it may have to be replaced one of these days. Sad.
